8 days package «Dicover the Yukon by Horseback Riding» :

Horseback riding in the wilds of Yukon is a great way to truly get away from it all.

This riding holiday is designed for any level of rider looking for an exciting riding looking for an exciting riding adventure in breathtaking country, while enjoying the comforts of a wilderness Lodge at night. You will spend your days exploring the area. In the evening you will return to a luxury accommodation except for one amazing wilderness overnight. This horseback riding trip provides the perfect combination of wilderness riding, luxury accommodation and exceptional meals. You will love it!

8 days starting each Tuesday from July 6th to September 7th. Minimum 2 pers. Maximun 6 pers.

Day 1 : Transfer from Whitehorse airport to Takhini River Lodge. Welcome drinks.

Day 2 : After breakfast, meet your guide. He will tell you all you need to know to become your horse's best friend. First small trip to the Yukon wilderness. Back to the Lodge at the evening for dinner and enjoy a peaceful night.

Day 3 : After breakfast you go for a full day horseback riding trip on a scenic trail. This trail is part of the old historic Dawson Trail used during the Gold Rush Era in the early 1900's to freight supplies by horse power to Dawson City. This trail is also part of the Trans Canadia Trail. In the evening go for a soak at the Takhini Hotsprings and relax before dinner. 

Day 4 : After breakfast you go for a long ride to a remote lake. Enjoy a cowboy cook-out lunch. Back to the Lodge for dinner and get ready for the coming expedition.

Days 5 et 6 : After Breakfast, you leave for a two day wilderness expedition. Learn how to care for your horse in a wilderness camp. Observe wildlife in their natural surroundings; you may see mooses, elks, and caribous. You enjoy a camp night under the midnight sun (June-July) or maybe under northern lights (September).Back to the Lodge on the second day for dinner.

Day 7 :Free day: option not included in the package price, visit to Whitehorse (museum, shopping).

Day 8 : Tranfer from Takhini River Lodge to Whitehorse Airport after breakfast.

Package Price (8 days / 7 nights : 2 499 CAD GST Included / person based on a double occupancy.  (Add $600.00 for a single occupancy).
